Question: Can I have a pet in the office?
Answer:
OSHA does not have any specific standards prohibiting pets in the workplace. You'd just need to ensure it doesn't present a workplace hazard to your employees.
You may need to consult your state/local health departments to see if they have any applicable standards, but it is not something addressed by OSHA.
Here is an OSHA Letter of Interpretation on the subject: https://www.osha.gov/laws-regs/standardinterpretations/2004-03-12-0
Letters of Interpretation from OSHA are considered OSHA's legal guidance on the matter.
