Question: What are the 2024 air filter and purification requirements? Are ultraviolet lights, a certain type of filter, or air flow filter processes required?
Answer:
As of the time of publishing this article, OSHA doesn't have an Indoor Air Quality standard. Therefore, OSHA doesn't stipulate air filtration and purification requirements.
That being said, there are some general guidelines and those can be found here: https://www.osha.gov/indoor-air-quality/faqs
Our COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plans go into more detail on indoor air quality in the section on Engineering Controls.
